Short Plays for Small Stages.  1927. Signed by Eimar O'Duffy (published under the pseudonym Oliver Sidgwick).  London, Liberal Publication Department, 42 Parliament Street, 112 pages.  Contains a play written by O'Duffy using the alias "Oliver Sidgwick".  "Romulus And Remus"  37 page office farce with Economic and Trade themes.  There are two other plays; "Roddy's Luck" by  Florence Morton & "Turning the Tables" by Henry Wood.  Eimar Ultan O'Duffy (29 September 1893 21 March 1935) was born in Dublin and educated at Stonyhurst College in Lancashire and at University College Dublin.   He was an influential person in the 1916 Easter Rising when he prevented Bulmer Hobson from stopping the Rising from happening by incarcerating him. Aside from his duties during the Rising, O'Duffy has been a prolific writer. His The Wasted Island, published in 1919 by Martin Lester Publication in Dublin and republished in 1920 by Dodd, Mead and Company in New York, has been regarded as his notable literary work. His wife Cathlean  nee Kathleen Patricia Cruise O'Brien was the sister of  Conor Cruise O'Brien. A VERY SCARCE ITEM.
