The Bank Charter Act: Ought the Bank of England or the People of England to Receive the Profits of the National Circulation? by Duncan, Jonathan London: Daniel F. Oakey, 1857. Exceptionally rare book by the 19th Century Money Reformer / Anti-Bullionist, scathing on Peel and Gold Standard.  Bound in brown-cloth, blank-stamped, with gilt title on top board and on spine. Spine shows sunning, gilt a little rubbed, cloth just starting to split at ends. Minor wear otherwise, most notable at edges.
